      • Voter Identification: Unfortunately Ohio has recently changed voting laws and has made it more difficult to vote in person. Ohio has reduced acceptable forms of identification for in person voting to: Drivers License, Ohio State ID, US Military ID, OH National Guard ID, US Veterans Affairs ID, US Passport, unexpired and with a photo of the voter, and their current name. Many of us feel that these changes have been made to purposefully exclude often marginalised people in our state: low income, disabled, elderly, and young voters as well as many others. If this is you, your vote is more important than ever!

  • What is Kamala Harris’s platform? What are Harris’s goals for making the United States a better place?

    • Based on Harris’s past initiatives and her current campaign, we can expect her to work for abortion rights, availability and use of clean energy, student debt relief, gun control, immigration reform including renewal and expansion of DACA (Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals), women’s rights, BIPOC rights, LGBTQIA+ rights, assuring internet access for all citizens regardless of income, and expansion of universal health care with significant cost reductions for the citizens of the United States. These are only a few of the many important issues she will address as she continues to campaign. Read more about the Harris/Walz ticket.

  • Where do I vote in Ohio?

  • Who are the Democratic candidates that I will see on the ballot for Ohio?

  • What issues will be on the Ohio ballet?

    • Issue 1 is important! A YES vote for Issue 1 will allow the map of Ohio’s voting districts to be approved by citizens, not politicians. A fairly drawn voting map will allow each district to have fair representation. Because the language explaining issue 1 on the ballet is complex and can be confusing, here are three key points:

      • Issue 1 will create the 15-member Ohio Citizens Redistricting Commission made up of Democratic, Republican, and Independent citizens who broadly represent the different geographic areas and demographics of the state.

      • Issue 1 will ban current or former politicians, political party officials and lobbyists from sitting on the Commission.

      • Issue 1 will require fair and impartial districts by making it unconstitutional to draw voting districts that discriminate against or favor any political party or individual politician.

      • Issue 1 will require the commission to operate under an open and independent process.
